This forward-facing car seat has a 5-point harness which ensures that force from a crash is evenly transferred across the rigid parts of the body, unlike a safety belt system.
While I couldn’t test this feature because I didn’t want to destroy the product, my research indicated that it has surpassed the most rigorous test in France, the United States, Canada.
Note that this car seat is only suitable for children between 9 and 18kg. Additionally, it is also equipped with side-impact protection to further protect your kiddo from incoming vehicles that may crash into the side of your vehicle.
We have the headrest to thank for this since it is well padded and correctly curved to protect the head. What’s even more reassuring is that the headrest can be adjusted to suit your child’s height at any given time, meaning you can keep using this Minnie mouse car seat as your child grows.
While safety is every parent’s priority, comfort for the child is also as important. The flip-up armrests allow the child to comfortably rest their arms.

What I love about this car seat, aside from its appealing design is that it is convertible. When I first saw it, I thought it was too big, but upon realizing that it is designed to grow with your child, I quickly picked it and decided to bring it to you.
This convertible car seat grows with your child, thereby reducing how much you have to spend on car seats over the years, and increases familiarity so your child doesn’t have to figure out how a new car seat works.
During the first stage of growth, your infant who is between 5 to 40 pounds can use it in the rear-facing position.
Afterward, it’ll support them in the forward-facing position until they are 65 pounds, and lastly, support them until they reach 100 pounds with the belt-positioning booster position.
I am usually skeptical about these convertible car seats because of their complex designs, but with the stainless steel frame of this car seat, I am rest assured that it will stand the test of time.
Nevertheless, they are a few setbacks to the structural design of this car seat. First, I noticed that the belt was a little difficult to adjust, which to me is not a good sign.
As a parent, you wouldn’t want to have an uncomfortable child in the back of the seat, strapped with a tight belt which is a recipe for a number of health complications.

What I absolutely love about this Kidembrace 2-in-1 harness booster is the easy-to-adjust 5 point harness system.
Using only one hand, I was able to switch between the crotch belt positions to provide my son with the highest comfort.
While he loved it, he suffered discomfort with the belt as it was too tight for his legs. I had to quickly remove it and tried readjusting it, but it was simply too short for his weight.
Nonetheless, the adjustable 3-position headrest came in handy. The headrest itself is well padded with energy-absorbing EPS foam to protect your child from side impact.
While I can install any type of car seat, and was ready to struggle with this, the LATCH system with push-on connectors made installation very easy and quick.
I would recommend this car seat for children of less than 34 pounds because of the tight belts.

It registers all the bells and whistles of a modern convertible car seat, including side impact protection, rear-facing, and forward-facing positions, infant insert, a five-point harness system, and integrated cup holders.
What I personally love about it is the easy installation. I believe a car seat should be very easy to install so parents don’t have to pay extra fees for installation.
The click latch system provides that easy installation so that non-technical parents can quickly install and start enjoying this car seat.
However, I discovered that this car seat falls short of a couple of promises. While I like that it is lightweight, it is quite small to support 50 pounds and even 24 inches.

I was looking for a good and affordable car seat made only for infants to gift my brother and came across the Disney Baby Minnie Mouse Light’n Comfy 22 luxe infant car seat (Dot).
I started my research immediately and loved some of the features I saw. For example, I liked that it is lightweight and equipped to support infants in the rear-facing position from 4 to 22 pounds.
I also learned from my research it exceeded the federal safety standards, which gave me peace of mind. But upon acquiring one to test, I realized that most of the features did not remotely meet its descriptions.
For example, it didn’t support my brother’s 17lbs son because of the short straps. I do not recommend this product because you’d have to buy another seat very soon.

This car seat is very aesthetically pleasing. Even as a parent, I loved it and immediately wanted to lay my hands on it. It is super comfy and your child is going to love it. I found the head and body pillows very useful as they provide overall support for children.
My research revealed that a couple of parents had problems with using this seat for older children, and I thought it was a major setback, but upon further inquiry, I discovered it has removable cushions to better support your bigger children. It is also certified for air travel and the fabrics are machine washable.
I highly recommend this car seat.
